7-8 lb (3.2-3.6 kg) fully cooked ham 1 cup (240 ml) honey 1 / 2 cup (100 g) brown sugar 1 / 4 cup (60 ml) Dijon mustard 1 / 4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar 1 tsp ground cloves
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the ham cut side down in a roasting pan. 2. In a saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and ground cloves. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves, forming a glaze. 3. Brush some of the glaze over the surface of the ham, and cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil. 4. Bake the ham for approximately 15-18 minutes per pound, basting with more glaze every 30 minutes. 5. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize. Allow the ham to rest before slicing and serving.
