1 T-bone steak (about 1 1/2 inches thick), about 16 oz (454 g) 1 tbsp olive oil salt pepper
1. Take the T-bone steak out of the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30-45 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture. 2. Preheat your grill to high heat. Rub the steak with olive oil, then generously season both sides with salt and pepper. 3. Place the steak on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side without disturbing it, allowing it to form a nice crust. Flip the steak and grill for another 4-5 minutes on the other side for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer to check for your desired doneness. 4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest on a cutting board, loosely covered with aluminum foil, for about 5-10 minutes. Resting allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Slice and serve immediately.
